"The Next Chapter in Mac's Life is That of a Teacher"

Hi Mac!

WOW - I've already received your book! I picked it up and started to read the acknowledgement, then the forward, then the preface, then the introduction and at page 38 I had to stop and get some work done here. It's a great book! And when I set it down I thought, this next chapter of Mac's life is that of a teacher - again,
helping to demystify the whole process of dealing with cancer and how it changes positively and negatively) relationships.

Your faith in God and your dear relationships will continue to lead you through it. And with this book, you will not only help people who have been diagnosed with
cancer but you will help the friends and relatives of cancer patients understand their role in helping loved ones deal with their illness. I know I will re-read this book and refer to it often in my life.

Thank you for writing it and helping me understand how to "be there" for others
dealing with this illness.

May you continue to be blessed!

Loving and funny

Thanks for emailing me the pics. I loved that Robert was the 'first one up.' Your words to the gathered group seemed humble and were funny and touching. Katherine

Thanks for the invite

Hi Mac!

We really enjoyed the reading. It's so meaningful to hear your printed words spoken. It was a really nice event and I'm so glad I could attend.

Congratulations!

Dear Mac,

St.Martin's Table was the PERFECT PLACE to have your book signing event..It has the same warmth, hospitality, integrity, and social concern that I think draws people here.

You did a great job. An author's life is hard. Although the gathering was small, you never know who has been touched. We do know that Jazzy and the young woman who had been at the Bridge for Runaway Youth, just to mention two, went away from your reading and booksigning with a deepened faith and optimism for life.

It was great to help coordinate the event, to introduce you and to support you in this important event.

Love, Mary Frances, from Visitation Monastery, in North Minneapolis.

Thank you, Evelyn, Galen, Jan, Katherine, Kathleen, Mary Frances, Robert ("Blue")for making this event successful.
